Find student aid with FAFSA

See available student aid across local, state and federal levels

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is used by colleges, career schools and federal organizations to help determine if a student qualifies for financial aid each academic year. Financial aid can include grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans. A student of any age can fill out the form to see what they may qualify for. The form usually takes less than an hour to fill out and can be done online via a computer or phone.

A new account can be set up on the website and existing accounts can also be used to access an existing application or to begin a new one.

What You Need To Get Started:

  • Create a free account or use an existing account username and password (FSA ID)

  • Parent or spouse contributor name, date of birth, Social Security number, and email address

  • Income and asset information (if required)

  • Get more details on the Federal Student Aid site
